Contents

This course is designed for students who have completed level A2 (A2.1+A2.2).

At the end of this class, students
- should be able to understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc.
- might be able to deal with most situations likely to arise whilst travelling in an area where the language is spoken
- should be able to produce simple connected text on topics which are familiar or of personal interest
- ought to be able to describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes & ambitions and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans

Grammar topics:
Infinitive clause
Revision dependent clauses
Consecutive clause structures with variations of „deshalb"
Preterite tense
Subjunctive voice – conditional sentences
Pronouns and pronominal adverbs
Future tense
N-declension

Speaking / Writing focus:
announcements, writing of simple texts with concept words

Course completion requirements:
- Written exam
- Oral exam
